Program Overview
Endicott’s events management major is an interdisciplinary program that combines business management coursework with core courses in event management. This program explores the dynamic nature of the events industry and teaches you how to manage the entire event process from concept ideation through post-event evaluation, including budgeting, venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, event marketing, and staff supervision.
Whether you want to be a planner or supplier, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure an event’s success. Qualified event planners are in demand by a broad range of organizations and corporations that require management expertise to oversee every facet of events proactively and skillfully. Our program will prepare you to be a leader in the industry capable of ensuring successful, flawlessly executed events.
