Program Overview

Endicott’s hotel and resort management program will prepare you for a career as a general manager at a hotel or resort. Coursework will explore concepts in lodging and resort operations, food and beverage management, revenue management, hospitality accounting, hotel and resort design, hospitality marketing, and hospitality law.

Beyond applying skills and knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world situations during internships and practicums, Endicott provides a unique opportunity to work in the hotel and hospitality industry directly on campus at our fine-dining oceanfront restaurant La Chanterelle, and at our 91-room Wylie Inn and Conference Center.

Endicott’s proximity to the world-class city of Boston is also a great advantage for hospitality management majors. Internships in hotels and resorts will introduce you to the exciting dimensions of the hospitality industry as well as to the mindset that successful leaders need to motivate and empower their employees. You will have opportunities to intern at internationally renowned sites such as The Four Seasons, the Boston Harbor Hotel, the Langham Boston, the Cotton House Hotel London, Marriott International, and Hilton Worldwide.

You will discover your passions, bolster career confidence, and develop a marketable skill while creating a professional network that will serve you well after graduation.

Studying or interning abroad with our Global Gulls program rounds out the hotel and resort management concentration, benefiting students with cultural fluency and the ability to adapt to changing situations, which are required skills needed to succeed in the global hospitality industry.
