Profile

Katie Clarke-Robertson is the Coordinator of Theater at Endicott College as well as the Artistic Director of Stage 284. Katie is a queer-identifying woman originally from Martha`s Vineyard who attended Endicott College as an undergraduate and never wanted to leave. Katie believes there’s a place for everyone in the theater and empowers her students and staff members to use their voices, bodies, and imaginations, to tell authentic stories.

Accomplishments

Awards

  • Katie has been a finalist for the The American Prize in Directing ( The Charles Nelson Reilly Prize) for her production of "Shrek the Musical!" in 2019 and a devised production "Work in Progress" in 2021 that were both produced at Endicott College. Katie has also directed productions that have received DASH awards over the years. The most recent wins were for two youth actors in her 2021 production of "Newsies!"

Appearances

  • Katie is a member of the college-wide DEIB taskforce and the co-chair of the VPAC DEIB Committee. She is also a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group on campus.
