Endicott College has been named a 2027 “Hidden Gem” by College Raptor, a college planning platform that helps students and families identify colleges based on academic fit, affordability, and other factors.

Now in its 12th year, College Raptor’s Hidden Gem rankings recognize high-performing colleges and universities that may not have the same national name recognition as larger institutions but deliver a strong academic experience and student outcomes.

The rankings are based on data reported to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), including retention and graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, endowment per student, and selectivity.

“For students looking for the benefits of a smaller college and exceptional academic programs, institutions like Endicott stand out as strong options,” said William Staib, co-founder and CEO of College Raptor. “We’re honored to recognize them with this well-deserved distinction.”

The recognition adds to Endicott’s growing national momentum. In the 2027 U.S. News & World Report rankings, the College rose to No. 19 among Regional Universities North and was also recognized among the region’s leaders for innovation and undergraduate teaching, as well as nationally for its co-op and internship programs.

College Raptor’s Hidden Gem rankings are intended to help students look beyond name recognition and discover colleges that offer strong academics, outcomes, and overall value.
